Synthesise and Reactions of Benzimidazol Hydrazones and its Acyclic N- and C- Nucleosides Which Exhibit Anti-cancer and Anti-viral Activities

Benzimidazol-2-hydrazeno derivative 1 reacts with different aldehydes to produce hydrazone derivatives 3a-e respectively. Also, derivative 1 reacts with aldosugars ( hexoses and pentoses) to produce N and C-acyclic nucleosides 4 and 7a,b after many cosequitive reactions. Some of the selected compoundes exhibited ani-cancer and anti-viral with high potency.
