A Randomized Trial Including Two Groups Of LUTS Patients Treated With The New Combination Versus Placebo Is Presented.

Materials And Methods : A Cohort Of 120 Patients Candidates To Surgery For Bladder Neck Obstruction Were Randomly Divided In Two Groups, Treatment With The Novel Association (NA) Versus Placebo ,And Investigated As Follows For A Duration Of Six Months.

The Treatment Was 2 Softgel Capsules Daily ,Each Containing 300mg. Of Urtica Dioica Radice Dry Extract Tit 0.8% ? Sitosterols 19.3%,Serenoa Repens Fruits Liquid Extract 160mg, Tit 85% Fatty Acids 10.3%, Avocado And Soya 166.7mg (30% Phytosterols) ,Vit E 5 Mg, Vit B6 1 Mg, Zinc 7.5 Mg.

Urinary Flow, IPSS Score, PSA,Ultrasound Based Measurement Of Prostate And Post Voiding Residual Urine Were Obtained From All Patients At Recruitment And After Three And 6 Months.The Data Were Statistically Processed By Means Of A NCSS Programm.

Results : At The End Of The Trial IPSS Score In The Treatment Group Curbed To 50% Of The Initial Value, Meanwhile The IPSS Score Increate By 10,9% In The Goup B (Controls).

Uroflow Had A 25 % Increase In Group A And A Decrease Of 18% In Group B.

No Noteworthy Changes As Regards Total PSA, Free To Total PSA Ratio And Prostate Size Have Been Observed In Both Groups.
