Abstract:

Several laboratories conduct research to develop not only iPSc but also induced multipotent stem cells. Those cells seems to be less dangerous for future treatment since cannot be source of teratomas. We have observed different types of reprogrammed cells, after using Life Technologies Sendai virus - Cyto Tune system.  It is possible since four independent and separated viral vectors are present in this system. One type of cells – showing only SOX2 expression was taken in to more systematic analyses.

Obtained cells showed features of GFAP positive Neural Stem Cells. Those induced Nerual Stem  cells (iNS) could be differentiated in to the glial and neuronal cells. iNS cells did not cause presence of teratomas in SCID mice.
