Prof. Roberto Corradini is Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Parma (Italy), responsible for the laboratory for Artificial DNA synthesis, and Coordinator of a National Project on miRNA recognition. His research interest include the synthesis of bioactive molecules with tailor-made supramolecular interactions, in particular modified peptide nucleic acids (PNA), and the development of new diagnostic tools and gene-modulating drugs. He has published 115 peer reviewed paper on international journals and 10 book chapter, and is Editor of one Book (Springer). He is member of the Editorial Board of Chirality (Wiley VCH), of the American Chemical Society (ACS), of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI), and of the Interuniversity Consortium of Structural and Systems Biology (INBB). He has been invited speaker for several International congresses and in private companies, and has been in the Organizing Committee and in the Scientific Committee of several international congresses. Referee for 15 Journals and 2 research institutions.
