The Australasian Gene and Cell Therapy Society (AGCTS), formally the Australasian Gene Therapy Society (AGTS), aims to facilitate the growth and development of the field of gene and cellular therapy in Australasia. The Society also aims to represent the goals of the Australasian gene and cell therapy community before government and the public. In addition, the AGCTS endeavors to disseminate information regarding the safe and ethical use of gene and cellular therapies, act as a resource of protocols, reagents and scientific exchanges, and contribute to the education and development of the next generation of scientists.

The Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN) is a multi-disciplinary organization whose mission is to represent the advancement of interventional neurology as a field with the ultimate goal of improving clinical care and outcomes of patients with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases. SVIN was established in 2002; it is the largest international Society representing interventional vascular neurologists. With the recent advancements and positive trials in interventional neurology, the Society is vibrant and booming!

SVIN 3^rd Annual Stroke Center Workshop and 8^th Annual Meeting
The Stroke Center Workshop will kick-start the Annual Meeting and aims to join the hands of industry, healthcare systems and other key stakeholders involved in the stroke chain of survival, to expand stroke centers of excellence across the country. The SVIN Annual Meeting has become a premier academic venue with scientific presentations covering the full spectrum of cerebrovascular diseases and stroke. Topics to be addressed include embolectomy, aneurysms and AVMs, subarachnoid and intracranial hemorrhage, endovascular saves and innovative approaches, new device review, international perspectives, and other related topics.

Since its founding in 1983, ESCMID has evolved to become Europe’s leading society in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases with members from all European countries and all continents. For more than 30 years, ESCMID has been an influential component in the professional lives of microbiologists and infectious disease specialists and now reaches more than 33’000 members and affiliated members around the world. ESCMID is registered in Switzerland with offices in Basel. We welcome new colleagues from all nations.

This is achieved by promoting and supporting research, education, training, and good medical practice.

The British Society of Toxicological Pathology (BSTP) was founded in 1985 as an organisation primarily for pathologists working in the field of toxicological pathology. The BSTP is a non-profit-making organisation and a Registered Charity - Number: 1043793. Our Aim is to advance all aspects of toxicologic and experimental pathology for pathologists, toxicologists and bioscientists though training programmes and continuing educational symposia so as to enable professional development, competence and guidance for new trainees and experienced members alike. For over 30 years, the British Society of Toxicological Pathology (BSTP) has been committed to providing high quality educational opportunities for its members and other scientists working in the field of toxicological and experimental pathology. The main focus of the BSTP is the organisation of Continuing Education Symposiums (CES) which offer high quality CPD opportunities for toxicological and discovery pathologists (and other scientists working with animal models), clinical pathologists and toxicologists as well as non-clinical regulatory scientists. The BSTP also hold an Annual Scientific Meeting, which in recent years have been a collaborative event with other societies. In addition to providing CPD opportunities, these meetings provide a unique opportunity for interaction and networking between scientists from a wide range of disciplines. We hope that by attending any of our events, not only will you gain knowledge invaluable to you in the workplace, but you will have opportunities to develop useful contacts from inside and outside your chosen discipline.

The Swiss Biotech Association (SBA) is the national industry association for biotechnology, including pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, agriculture, food, cosmetics, environmental biotechnology, and specialty chemicals. Members are companies active in modern biotechnology, such as R&D, Production, Marketing and Sales, Finance, Services and Consulting. SBA provides a networking platform for Life Science clusters, academic and federal institutions the like. Founded in March 1998, the Association grows steadily.
